In-Home Physiotherapy on the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane

Getting to a clinic is not always easy. A new injury, recovery after surgery, a long-term condition or simply getting older can all make the trip the hardest part. In-home physiotherapy takes that trip out of the equation.

We bring the assessment, the hands-on treatment and any equipment to your front door, across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane. You get the same care you would get in a clinic, in the place you actually live.

What a Home Visit Physiotherapy Appointment Involves

Your first home visit starts with a full assessment. We talk through your history, your goals and what you are finding hard right now. Then we get to work.

Our mobile physiotherapists treat a wide range of problems at home, from injuries and post-surgery recovery to long-term and neurological conditions. You get hands-on treatment, a tailored exercise plan and progress tracking, the same as in the clinic. You do not need any special setup. A small area of clear floor space is enough, and we bring what we need.

Is In-Home Physiotherapy as Effective as Clinic Physiotherapy?

For many conditions, yes.

A large UK trial (the CORKA study) found that home-based rehabilitation after knee replacement was as effective as clinic-based physiotherapy, and it cost less. What matters most is a structured plan and doing the exercises, not the setting. Being seen at home also has a real advantage: we watch how you move in your own space, including the step at the front door, the bathroom and the kitchen, which tells us things a clinic visit cannot.

Who Benefits From Mobile Physiotherapy at Home

Older Adults and Falls Prevention at Home

Around half of the falls that put older Australians in hospital happen at home, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. Seeing you where those risks are lets us work on balance and strength and spot hazards in the same visit. Our physiotherapists can suggest simple aids and home changes, such as rails or ramps, and our occupational therapists can assess your home and recommend equipment.

Recovery After Surgery or a Hospital Stay

In the early weeks after surgery, getting to a clinic can be painful and awkward. Home-based rehab keeps your recovery moving without the travel, and we follow your surgeon's protocols closely.

Long-Term and Neurological Conditions

For conditions like stroke, Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, practising in your own environment makes the gains more useful. We train the movements you actually need at home, from safe transfers to walking between rooms.
