Who Is Eligible For DVA Physiotherapy?
DVA physiotherapy is for veterans and eligible family members who hold a Veteran Card. What it covers depends on the type of card you have.

DVA Gold Card Physiotherapy
A Veteran Gold Card covers physiotherapy for all of your clinically necessary conditions. It does not matter whether the condition is related to your service. If a Gold Card holder needs physio, DVA covers it.

DVA White Card Physiotherapy
A Veteran White Card covers physiotherapy for specific conditions that DVA has accepted as service-related. If your condition is accepted on your White Card, your physio is covered. If you are not sure, your GP or DVA can confirm what is accepted.

How Much Does DVA Physiotherapy Cost?
For eligible veterans, DVA physiotherapy is free. There is no out-of-pocket cost and no gap fee.

This works because DVA pays your physiotherapist directly, at the rates set in the DVA fee schedule. As a registered DVA provider, Pimpama Physiotherapy bills DVA for you. You pay nothing for clinically necessary treatment of a covered condition.

One thing to check: only use a physiotherapist who accepts DVA. A private clinic that does not bill DVA may charge you a fee that DVA will not refund.

How To Access DVA Physiotherapy At Pimpama
01. See your GP
Talk to your GP about your condition. If physiotherapy is right for you, ask for a DVA referral (a D904 form).
02. Book with us
Contact Pimpama Physiotherapy and let us know you are a DVA client. Bring your Veteran Card and referral to your first visit.​
03. We bill DVA
We treat you and bill DVA directly. For covered conditions, you pay nothing.
